I had what I considered a real emergency situation. I couldn't sleep, I was irritated and red in some places on my body from the itching. I couldn't take it another day, my Dermatologist is closed on Wednesday, couldn't get a same day appointment at my primary care doctor. I had seen my Dermatologist a week earlier but he gave me an injection in hopes that would take care of my situation. It seemed to help but honestly didn't stop all the itching. Anyway I found myself sitting in the International Urgent Care parking lot. No other cars were on the lot but I just figured they were on lunch but they hadn't opened yet for the day. I had such an incredibly pleasant experience with the whole staff and especially Dr. Khan at International Family Medicine and Urgent Care!
I was on a trip from Oregon and walked in for an urgent care appointment with Dr. Khan, experiencing an extremely painful issue. I was immediately helped by their friendly staff, and they worked out my insurance over the phone to be seen asap.
I was seen by Dr. Khan within minutes of intake, and he went right to work, helping me immensely with my pain, explaining everything that was going on very thoroughly, and assuring me things will get better with the coarse of self-care and meds he prescribed me.

Recently, I completed a one-month-long externship under the guidance of Dr. Khan at International Family Medicine and Urgent Care, and it was an incredible experience. Dr. Khan is very knowledgeable and is an excellent teacher. He always welcomes sharing his expertise.
My stay was full of hands-on experience and learning.
