I get that there is gonna be a wait for emergency care but I have been waiting for three hours and the have a waiting room full. They are only two calling names every hour and 40 min to two hours. I have never seen anything like this. Not to mention there is no hand sanitize to speak of.
In my experience, this facility was unprofessional and distressing. I had multiple negative interactions with staff that made the environment feel unsafe and inappropriate for care. Additionally, my charges for the same services increased significantly without clear explanation. When I asked about the billing, I was told “insurance will pay,” yet my insurance confirmed the claims were already fully paid while the hospital continued to seek additional charges. Because of both the care experience and unresolved billing issues, I do not recommend this hospital.
We are sitting here now as my son is in extreme pain with staff unresponsive. He checked in around noon today with intense back pain and vomiting. He is prone to kidney stones, so they treated him quickly with anti nausea meds and pain medication. They were very responsive when he started having a reaction to one of the medications and gave him Benadryl. The staff has been very kind. That’s where it stops. The rest of the day, he slept while we waited hours for a CT scan. I understand it can be quite the wait. However, during that time we notified several staff members that his pain was returning.
