About C1 Truck Driver Training
C1 Truck Driver Training is one of the largest CDL training schools in the United States, providing high-quality training since 1987. The school's instructors are praised for their genuine care for students' success, and the staff as a whole is commended for their dedication. While some equipment maintenance issues have been reported, the school's ability to prepare students for their state exams and the trucking industry has been consistently praised. Students who attended the school in the early 2000s and nearly a decade ago have shared positive experiences, highlighting the school's awesome facility before the tornado and the staff's helpfulness, knowledge, and ambition in guiding students to achieve their goals. The school continues to run strong, with a reputation for delivering quality training and preparing students for their future in the trucking industry.
GRADUATED IN 2003 C1 is one of the best schools in the country! "How do you know, a driver only goes to one school?" you might ask. I've personally retrained 3 drivers that went to other schools.
Took the course on a whim in June of 99. Arrived in town with fumes in my tank. Been driving ever since. Stayed at a not very classy hotel on Shadeland Ave. Every night there were raids (the guys were told to stay away from Washington St lol). My roommate (Al) and I had no issues. Back then they had old JB Hunt cab overs. You could apply to Pam, Werner, USA Truck, Roel, and a few others. All in all, was a good experience. Summer heat with no AC in the trucks kinda blew chunks, but we survived. Of all the guys and gals starting that class, all but 1 lady and the guys busted by undercover hooker stings, graduated, and I think she just said she was gonna just ride with her hubs and not plan on getting a CDL. Glad to see it's still in operation. In fact, I'm getting my Hazmat back, and will be using their online course.

From testing to upgraded X CDL with background check etc, 6 days from the day I took C1s online test.
