    Difficult Cancellation Process
    My experience with Apria Healthcare centered on trying to discontinue service and arrange pickup of medical equipment.
    I was told I needed to sign an “Against Medical Advice” (AMA) form stating I was refusing medically necessary treatment. That did not reflect my situation, and I was not comfortable signing it. I offered to sign a hold harmless agreement instead, but was told the wording could not be changed.
    I was also told there was an alternative—having a physician sign off to avoid the AMA form. In my case, that wasn’t practical since the prescribing doctor was hospital-based and not easily accessible.

    I received a call from Apria Healthcare and they explained hwo things worked and what my out of pocket costs would be. They quickly sent me the medical equipment tyhat i nneeded and now i am able to breathe much better. Thank you APRIA for a quick and easy process and delivery.

    I’m new having a cpac. I had a bloody nose and called to see what they recommended. I talked to a very nice gentleman that didn’t rush me and told me how to adjust the settings. I slept a lot better last night and no bloody nose.
