Had a call from my mom last Thursday (right before the Labor Day holiday weekend) that her PHILLIPS "speed o matic" mobile home water heater was not working. I continuity tested and both heating elements were broken. This is an old electric unit but has a glass lined tank that obviously must last FOREVER! I could NOT FIND THE NEEDED REPLACEMENT ELEMENTS (1750w 118v 7 ceramic open coil style) ANYWHERE on the internet or calling every supply store at or near Michigan city. I searched over the holiday weekend with no luck - all were discontinued or listing obsolete. By chance - I mentioned to a coworker & he suggested call KBK on Wisconsin. KBK had a water heater in stock that they made so easy to buy and pick up and then when I needed to come in the next day to get a copy of the receipt, they gave me some extra advice about the warranty that I didn’t know about. Great experience!
