My wife is divorcing after 37 years of marriage. So in her anger towards me she never contacted me about her mother dying last week. My mother in law loved me we spent many hours talking all about the ups and downs of life. When my mother in law couldn’t take care of herself anymore i let her move into my house for about a year and a half until she passed. The bottom line is i loved my mother in law and it was wrong what my wife did by not calling me to tell me she passed. You think the person you loved for 37 years would treat her husband like that.

My family was treated with such respect and dignity by the Kuiper Funeral Homes staff. Allison Book handled my mother's arrangements, and everything was explained fully to me and my sister. We constantly called to add things to my mother's obituary, and they were changed instantly. I called so many times about details and always handled so well. Allison was so professional and genuinely cared that all our needs were taken care of and made sure we were satisfied. On the 16th of May, 2025, I had an appointment with both Paul & Jason, both were very friendly and courteous. They provided a warm atmosphere during my visit with them. As Im getting older I wanted to get my affairs in order so when the time comes it will be easy for my immediate family to take care of things. Because of them they made it easy as possible for me to get things not only in order, but situated. They also provided me a planning book so that it will also make it easy for my family to respect all my wishes that I have written inside for them to follow. Kudos to both Paul & Jason at Kuipers Funeral Home in Highland, Indiana.
