The staff here is wonderful! Dr. Byrd is great and so is Dr. Dawson! They are both super understanding of how anxious and reactive my goofus of a dog gets at the vet—so funny seeing Dr. Byrd strategically deploying spray cheese for easy vaccinations! They have also been awesome in collaborating with a different vet practice in a different state when I have been travelling and have done last-minute med refills—both of which I know are not easy. Thanks for taking such great care of us, UPVH!!
As someone who moves a lot and has been to vets around the country, this is the best veterinary hospital I've been to with my dog, hands down. The vet techs, front desk staff, and vets themselves are super friendly, efficient, and very knowledgeable. They also run on time, no long waiting when you show up at your appointment time. Dr. Byrd helped me with my anxious rescue dog, and both Dr. Byrd and Dr. Dawson helped me with an overseas move to make sure he was safe, up to date on requirements, and even handled the paperwork for us. We miss them very much already but highly recommend to others!
I have been taking my Shih tzu Sadie here since she was 10 weeks old and she is now 14 years old. Everyone is wonderful. All the technicians and doctors are very professional and informative. Couldn’t imagine taking her anywhere else.
