Went to the emergency room 12/28. My symptoms were pressure under right rib cage, so much my ribs feel they are being pushed out. This has lasted over a month with me trying 3 different gastro meds that provided no relief and I stated I have Crohn’s Disease.
I left your hospital with antibiotics for a UTI. (By bloodwork, not affecting kidneys)
I don’t doubt I have a UTI, but I’m upset that the ER Doctor put in made up notes in my chart. He stated I came in with abdominal pain radiating to back (not true, no back pain) saying I had pain when urinating (not true, never said that) and the pain lasted 2 days??? Of all the hospitals in my area, when I need to go to the ER or even get admitted I try my damnedest to make sure that I go to Goshen hospital. It is the friendliest, most professional, cleanest, quickest, hospital that I have ever been to. The entire staff there is friendly and efficient and works their butts off to try to figure out what is wrong with you get you well and send you home to your family.
I got taken to Elkhart general via ambulance and they somehow triaged me below all the people in the lobby while they were playing on their phones while I was trying not to pass out from pain. The security guard helped me in to my car where I did pass out from pain so we could go to Goshen hospital. They were very kind and gave me updates on rooms opening and checked on me in the wheel chair. It was a 45 minute wait because they were at capacity but the doctor was immediately helpful and cared about my pain and symptoms. Truly a phenomenal staff here that seem to genuinely care.
