NEVER take your cat here. They botch spays and leave your cat covered in blood and feces. Don't even bother asking for pain meds because they will dismiss you. Absolutely horrible. How can you treat an animal like that??

I brought in a stray cat through a catch-and-release program to be spayed at Edwardsville Animal Clinic. When I picked her up, she was covered in feces and blood. Her ear was clipped (which I expected), but a much larger portion than what’s normally done.
I asked if I could purchase pain medication for her recovery and was told she didn’t need any because she was a stray — which I don’t understand, since pain management should matter regardless of whether an animal has a home. I also inquired about flea treatment, but the staff couldn’t tell me if she had received one, nor did they allow me to purchase it. I have since called back for clarification and never received a response.
Because we want to find her a permanent home, I took her to two other veterinarians for follow-up care. Both vets independently confirmed that her spay incision was done incorrectly and described it as “butchered.” They are in the process of reporting Edwardsville Animal Clinic.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend taking an animal here.

Really affordable and very sweet staff. Took all 3 of my fur babies there today, all 3 received vaccinations including lepto, Lyme, distemper 3 year, rabies 3 year, one nail trim, heartworm test, and paid for their booster shots in 3 weeks. All for $850 which is amazing.
