My brother’s funeral was held here. For many reasons the funeral did not go as planned and it was upsetting for me but on the part of the funeral home I was most upset by 2 things. 1) the director stood up at my brothers funeral & addressed the attendants when she was not asked to. I find that to be very rude. 2) his obituary was edited without our consent and the editor clearly was not informed enough to make that decision. I mentioned in the obituary that my brother wanted to get into a certain field to “off set” gentrification and it was edited to say “set up” gentrification. Our experience was wonderful! Avis the funeral director was amazing she took her time with us making arrangements for my Mother we spent 3 hours talking and sharing memories with her she truly is a angel here on earth, she made a very difficult day into one that I will cherish! Thank you for making my Mother look beautiful as she was laid to rest and being so kind and wonderful with us! We will never forget how you made us feel! God bless and Thank you! ❤️

This review is a bit bitter/sweet for me as its never good when one needs these types of services. Very recently my father passed away and we turned to Ridgelawn for his memorial. I think I speak for my Mother and Sisters when I say we could not have asked for much more. The staff here was very accommodating and sensitive to our needs in our time of grieving. We dealt primarily with a wonderful woman named Avis (like the car rental place). She was a very competent guide through this process. She was extremely considerate of where we all were emotionally and also invested a good portion of her time to make sure things were just so. The ceremony went pretty smoothly. If I had any complaint it would be that at the gravesite they didn't provide a chair for my very elderly and distraught Mother. All in all great experience
