HMD LLC is a reputable company that offers great pay and comfortable trucks. Dispatchers, like Vince, are reportedly awesome in getting drivers miles and handling logistics. Although some drivers may experience long hours, with pay that can offset expenses like parking, the company's fuel partnership with Pilot/Flying J is a major plus. The company's equipment, mechanics, and overall operations are also praised. However, some drivers may encounter rude behavior from colleagues, but there are exceptions like Joshua Moats, who showed kindness and concern. Overall, HMD LLC is a good company that offers a positive experience for drivers.
Great great great company, I was skeptical at first but my dispatcher (Vince) has been awesome! He gets me miles and the pay is great! HMD hired me even though I was outside of their hiring area and they still find a way to get me home on time, one complaint is they like to run you until 8, 9, 10pm so extra trip planning and buying a parking spot (in the south especially) is needed; but either way the pay makes up for what you’d spend on parking, plus they only fuel with Pilot/Flying J so you can build your points up and not even have to pay for parking! I ran out of gas on the highway today and was able to make it to the ramp of a rest stop. I thought that would be safe but little did I know the amount of truck drivers that were absolutely rude!!!!! The only one that stopped, set up orange triangles and ask if I needed help was a man named Joshua Moats truck 2018!! He was kind, concerned and helpful. These truckers drive way to fast and were unconcerned. I feel he needs to be recognized for his good deed when countless trucks flew by me tired I’m sure but so was he! God bless the good ones!!
Honestly was a very good company great pay looking back and awesome trucks equipment and mechanics I had a lot going on when I left and didn't Handle the separation the right way and said things I didn't mean to management I would come back if they'd have me.
