“I really liked this laundromat, even before it went to new ownership, but I often wouldn’t be able to go because it has such restricted hours. They were very serious about making sure your load was in before a certain time, and would not admit you.

It was worth trying to go to because there was an attendant that made sure the wash and dry area was clean, and the bathroom was too. And it was one of the few places that didn’t have TVs or music blaring.

Now, with the new ownership, all those good features remain, and it’s open 24 hours.

Also, I think this laundromat does not ration water so much. There are few laundromats in town that have really new high efficiency washers, and I do not think my clothes are getting clean. I follow manufacturers recommendations for using a moderate amount of soap, and not stuffing the washer too much, but at those laundromats, I can barely see or hear the splash of water in the machine. Those same laundromats will charge you for heavy duty wash, extra rinse, and for warm or hot water. I do not want a la carte laundry pricing. Those same places will occasionally offer ozone treatment for free. Great, if you want sanitized dirt, like with potting soil. Ozone can kill a germ, but it can't lift stains or dirt. Only detergent and a sufficient volume of water can do that.
