About LA Fitness

LA Fitness offers a range of amenities at a great value. The club is large and features state-of-the-art equipment, basketball courts, group fitness classes, a pool, saunas, and Kids Klub. Instructors for group classes are highly rated. However, some equipment is old and in need of repair, and cleanliness can be an issue. The gym has undergone recent updates, including new machines and training areas. Staff are friendly, and the atmosphere is clean. Despite some drawbacks, LA Fitness remains a convenient option for many.

Great gym. Love the trainers, equipment, staff.
HOWEVER, some new higher level guy took over who is a KILLER OF JOY and made the front desk remove the ducks. It was so much fun to contribute and to see what new additions were there. What a fun story of how it started! But then this new guy WHO DOESN'T LIKE FUN and who thinks you can't be professional and FUN and SPREAD JOY at the same time, made the staff remove the ducks! How awful his life must be! BRING BACK THE DUCKS!!!

Nice facility, nice community. Horrible plan for retaining customers. I’ve been here for almost a year. I wanted to switch to a cheaper plan , paying $45 a month, as I only use this location. I wasn’t offered to switch to a cheaper monthly plan without paying ANOTHER initiation fee. Mind you I paid $120 initiation when I joined, not to mention I’ve been here for 10 months. I was switching to a gym closer to my home, that’s 24hrs. For $20 a month. I told them for $25 a month, I’d stay. But nope they can’t make it happen without paying another $100 for INITIATION! Make it make sense 🤦🏼‍♂

I’ve had a nationwide membership for over 10 years. Been to clubs from Cali to Mass and in between. This is the nicest La/Esporta I’ve ever been to. Weights stay racked. The most members I’ve ever noticed, who clean the equipment after using.
Clean. Coast to coast, my #1 club to go to! It was a real treat to use this club, for about a month.
