I've been to two doctors here for a rash on my face. I've had the rash for 5 years. First doctor said hormonal acne (of course, leave it to a male doctor to blame hormones when it's a woman). It became clear that his treatment was going to destroy my skin so I had no choice but to ignore his advice. When they got a new doctor in I tried again. The rash acted like rosacea but didn't look like rosacea I said. So they just treated it like rosacea without even trying to run tests. Doctors like to throw around a diagnosis, especially when it can't be disproven and just throw meds at the problem. This isn't the way doctors should treat patients. It's irresponsible and lazy. I used to work in animal medicine and if a dog had a skin rash, the first thing they do is a skin scrape or a culture. I got less consideration than a dog and I wonder why I bother paying for insurance when I have to be my own doctor anyway. Ps. I don't have rosacea and I didn't have hormonal acne and after specifically asking for an antibiotic ointment that was not covered by insurance, I'm finding relief for the first time in 5 years. No thanks to the many doctors who looked at the rash and dismissed it.

I want to be clear, the office staff was professional and nice, but it was very rushed during all of my visits. I had multiple visits to remove a mole and two cysts (both on scalp). I asked about having all done in one visit, but they declined (time constraints, money grab for multiple appointments? ….who knows). First appointment was a consultation (pretty standard). Second appointment was to have mole shaved (Vanessa didn’t get it all and part of it grew back). Third appointment was to have one cyst removed (Vanessa only got part of it).
Fourth appointment was to have another go at the same cyst…I took off work and drove an hour just to be told that she won’t attempt it again and want’s to send me somewhere else for outpatient surgery (Of course I had to pay for this visit just for her to tell me this…what a waste of money and time.) I never did hear from the office about the outpatient referral.
In conclusion, after multiple appointments and well over a thousand dollars, I have nothing to show for it. I still have a mole and two cysts. I recommend going elsewhere.

Very knowledgeable. She spotted a basal cell carcinoma on my face, so I'm glad I went! She put my mind at ease, told me what the procedure would be to test/treat it. I feel like I'm in good hands.
