One very cold night, went to bed the house was warm, but woke up and it was real cold, went to the thermostat ad made sure the heat was on, but was blowing cold air the ac was on, could not get the heat back on, so i called Unique hvac, and a nice young man came out, looked at the thermostat, was saying i had a heat pump which i don't, he said that the thermostat will put the ac on so told him to put another stat in, not a wifi one, he did and the furnace kicked on...that was the 2nd wifi stat i had and took both out, and opted for the old fashioned manual stat with real buttons, never again...
They came out to take care of a noise from a new AC unit they installed recently and had it fixed in 15 minutes!
