He's also a good conversationalist so the time in the chair goes quickly. There's rarely a wait - have never seen more than one other customer in the place while we've been here. Unfortunately, he's been closed for a couple months now with a sign in the window stating that the shop is closed until further notice due to illness. On our last drive past in mid-July, noticed that the barber pole has been taken down and the awnings over the doors removed - hopefully this isn't the end of this establishment: he's been cutting hair here since 1958, and the building itself has housed a barber shop for over a century - it'll be sad to see it close.”
