I used to dye my hair a bunch and have been trying to grow it out and just get back to my natural color. “I've been seeing Shelbie for a while now. Before our last sesh, she and I were talking about a minor chop (of my past-hip-length hair) because of some dryness and thinning she has noticed. I trusted her awesome colour work, so I took a chance and she snipped off about four inches (what we agreed to). Since that cut, brushing my hair has been so much easier with fewer knots and tangles than I've had in a good while!! Very pleased overall with her services!!“

For the past couple of years (and actually most of my life) I have been straightening it or wearing it up, generally combatting its natural state. Then a couple of months ago decided to seek out a new stylist and found Echo. After my first curly cut with Echo, it was like I had a brand new head of hair. She also is an artist when it comes to looking at your face and your hair and determining what’s going to really fit your face and highlight your best features. Many hairdressers I have gone to in the past listen but don’t hear. And then they end up cutting my hair the way they want to cut it rather than how I want it cut. Brandi is an amazing artist.“

“Pricey and takes hours, but probably one of the best places in a city like Louisville to get authentic braiding. My girlfriend keeps choosing to come back here, says they're almost as good as back in Africa.

They do have some braids here, but if you have an unusual hair color then it would be a good idea to bring your own.“
