I am writing this to warn others about the misleading billing practices at this office. I specifically told the staff that I did not want any X-rays or cleaning if it resulted in out-of-pocket costs. I was assured—multiple times—that my insurance would cover everything 100%. Relying on their word, I moved forward, only to receive a bill for $211 later. It is incredibly frustrating to be told one thing to get you into the chair, and then be charged something else entirely. When I brought this up, they only offered a 20% discount rather than honoring their original verbal agreement. I expect a manager to contact me immediately to waive this charge, as I would have never consented to the service had I been told the truth about the cost.
UPDATE: The office replied below asking me to call them, but I have already emailed and contacted them multiple times to resolve this. Offering a generic response to look good in public while ignoring my private attempts to fix this misleading $211 bill is incredibly disappointing. I am still waiting for a manager who actually has the authority to waive this charge to contact me back.

Staff was friendly and did good work but what occurred afterwards was a but egregious. Over a year later I get a bill for $90 and a phone conversation saying they billed my insurance for a test without the proper paperwork to go with it so I owed money. I asked to be emailed a document that showed the bill on their end and the document that was sent to me had 2 other patients' identifying information. Full names and dates of birth. I notified them about the error but there was no follow up. Please be careful with this practice as they seem to be a bit loose with the insurance billing and HIPAA protocols.
