About Rolf Posture Balancing - Rolfing

Rolf Posture Balancing - Rolfing offers a form of bodywork known as Rolfing Structural Integration, which is scientifically validated and focuses on releasing tension and bracing patterns in the body. Unlike massage or chiropractic care, it primarily targets fascia and connective tissue that connect everything in the body. This method helps realign the body naturally, without joint adjustments, leading to longer-lasting and more effective results than deep tissue massage. Many clients experience benefits such as relief from chronic pain, improved flexibility, greater lung capacity, and enhanced athletic performance. People who have tried various therapies, including physical therapy and chiropractic care, often find Rolfing to be the most impactful. Sessions can improve posture, stability, and strength, especially for those with injuries or ongoing muscle issues. The process takes time and commitment, but clients report significant, lasting improvements, including recovery from injuries and increased body awareness. Overall, Rolf Posture Balancing provides a thorough, effective approach to body restructuring and movement education.

The best part, though, is that the effects cumulate, and after 10+ sessions, the improvements...read full review

Went in to Phil on a referral, and was overly impressed with his awareness of the body, he worked my body in all my problem spots, don’t waste your time with a massage, go to this guy and let him get your body together.

Philip is an extremely sensitive, intuitive and holistic practitioner. He is unlike any bodyworker I’ve ever worked with. Going through the Ten-Series posture balancing program helped to relieve tension and stress, opening up blocked areas on a physical and emotional level. Philip’s work on my rib cage is particularly helpful as it assists my body to perform my pranayama practice better and generally breathe better. I work at a desk all day typing which causes constant overuse of my hands, resulting in carpal tunnel syndrome. His bodywork has been helpful in correcting my habit of slouching and reducing the number of flair-ups and the intensity of the carpal tunnel...read full review
