We had a severe eye infection going on and called Midwest Low Vision/Long Family Eyecare an hour before closing. Not only were they were able to see us without a prior appointment, but everyone from reception to the doctor was exceptionally understanding and took great care of us. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone for their eye care needs.

Dr. W. Jarod Long and Holly were exceptional today as a low vision specialist team!! They are out of Bloomington and come to Evansville to see patients also. He was kind and compassionate also understanding as he went through difficult discussions with my nearly 80-year-old mother. She felt at ease and our questions were answered. Holly also helped answer many questions and will be so helpful in the future.. They are an excellent example of teamwork.!!!

My 91 year old mother lost a substantial amount of her vision due to macular degeneration. The most distressing thing about her situation was that she was no longer able to read the paper and one of her favorite magazines. Dr. Long was able to identify a pair of glasses that would remedy the situation and she’s now back to reading and completing the daily crossword puzzle! Dr. Long and Holly were the two we met with and I can’t say enough kind things about how kind and patient they were with her. I’m just sorry it took us so long to find them.
