I needed emergency wedding dress help just 2 weeks before my wedding. My dress was unevenly yellowed in a way that looked very bad, and it smelled bad. I was so sad and worried it was unfixable as it is a delicate vintage silk dress. She treated it by hand and she was able to save it! I am overjoyed that I get to wear my dress after all!
They were amazing at cleaning a 20+ year old stain out of the hem of an old wedding dress. It was a dark stain along the entire bottom of a silk wedding dress that is now barely perceptible at all thanks to their wonderful and careful handling and treatment of the delicate fabric and now it looks completely white. I wanted to write to share what an amazing talent Sunny( owner) is at alterations at Crosstown Cleaners .My son recently was married .I had my dress but needed to have some detailed alterations done .She not only gave me her advice and suggestions on how she would proceed with it ,she did an impeccable job implementing them .The dress was very special to me and there was no back up if something did not turn out .I am so appreciative of her hard work and felt she needed to be recognized for her talents.
