Bob and Bobby Jr. did an excellent job building our new Timbertech deck in Sugar Grove. They worked through a unique permitting situation on my property and kept me informed every step of the way. When it was finally time to build, Bob kept me up to date on current steps, what was next, and any decisions or choices I'd be having to make. We love the finished product and can certainly tell Bob spends a lot of time making sure the small details are executed. I'd recommend RLK Builders to anyone considering a deck or carpentry project.
When my husband was planning to strip, sand, and repaint the pool deck for the umpteenth time, I suggested it might be time to just make it maintenance free by swapping out the wood floor for composite.
Bob at RLK Builders had built the pool deck for us in 2015, and just finished rebuilding the house deck another builder had built for us 20 years ago, so we called him back to see about making the pool deck as maintenance free as the house deck now was.
It took 4 days of work for him and his son to swap out the wood for composite decking and aluminum railings. Start to finish with weekend and supply delays it took a week.

After 20 years it was time to rebuild our house deck that a different contractor had built which seemed to be held up with just hopes and dreams by this point.
We decided to go with Bob at RLK Builders because he had built our pool deck over a decade prior and no amount of kids running and jumping on it for the past decade of summers got it to wiggle even a millimeter. That deck is SOLID and built to last.
