“This is now an Elase, but the same great people run it! Hillary is the best. Skilled, kind, practiced in her trade and I fully trust her. The manager is always friendly and helpful. Glad to have a high end med spa like this in Yorkville, no more driving to Geneva or Naperville! Prices are fair and market priced, they do have specials on occasion as well so keep and eye on them on social media!“

When I couldn’t get a facial at my usual place, I remembered her. Honestly, the fact that she is a medical aesthetician was a little intimidating. I thought the facial might be expensive and overkill. I was wrong. Fees were in line with other local services, and she planned the perfect treatment based on my goals.

It was lovely. It was perfect. It was beyond anything I imagined. Facial TREATment has a new meaning to me. The problem is, I am spoiled now.

“Had appointment 8/28/2023 and received great care. On 9/6/2023, received Explanation of Benefits (EOB) from Insurance stating I will owe $178.23. A few days later, Midwest Dermatology send me an email with the invoice. I paid it in full on 9/15/2023. In December 2024, nearly 1-1/2 years later, I received a bill from Midwest Dem stating I owe another $45. They apparently resubmitted the claim under their 2024 contractual agreement and are now trying to collect more money. This is a great example of unethical billing practices. I do not recommend them. (By the way I am VP & RN for a large Medical Group, so I am familiar with medical practices.)“
