Hello just wanted to share my experience with doctor Than. And before i get into the bad stuff, please know that i genuiely feel horrible for the nurses who work under her/ for her they are absolutely the sweetest. I came here as a new patient needing a new primary physician and my family told me to choose doctor Than. I came in to get a referral for a problem i had with my toe. Well she looked at my foot and laughed at me, not with me, AT me. She laughed at me and looked at me very grossed out. It was extremely embarrassing. I saw Jessica Barrera NP-C, for the first time and wow, I am amaized! After seeing two incompetent OB/GYN and dealing with pain and discomfort, I saw Jessica once and she solved my problems. I am so thankful for actually caring and competent doctors and providers. North Western doctors have let me down enough, it is a new day and Mercy Health is not only leading the way, but actually helping people to feel better. Do not ever call this place an ask if they are in network and trust a single thing they say. (Your insurance will tell you that it is your responsibility to call the insurance provider and verify coverage.) I called to ask if a specific APRN was in network with Cigna and after some back and forth, was told YES. I immediately scheduled an appointment. Out of the way for me but worth it to continue seeing the same APRN for my toddler (building trust with familiar faces, and all that.) During that appointment, I was referred to an allergist who is also with Mercy, which I saw soon after. Mercy sent me an estimate that showed I'd only owe my copay.
