Jim evaluated my home and recommend insulation and energy-efficiency improvements. I had done a fair amount of research ahead of time, and Jim took the time to walk me through the pros and cons of different solutions I'd read about and helped me prioritize where to start. I ultimately decided to seal the rim joists using closed-cell foam, and it was immediately a massive improvement to the comfort of my home.
Jim and his team we're easy to work with, clean, and completed the job ahead of schedule. Jim also handled the utility rebate and I received the discount ahead of time, which was a nice bonus.

Attic insulation. I can deep dive and learn how to DIY things around the house but I figured attic insulators have faster tools than me so it'd be worth it to pay for it. I still did a couple hours of research, I knew what I wanted but wanted the contractors to quote me what they thought was best. Jim nailed it on process, materials, not fixing the attic fan, and how much old insulation to remove for cost-effectiveness. Clearly knew his stuff, up to date on modern practices (not stuck doing what he's always done). Price came back fair, pulled the trigger immediately.
