My regular optometrist was out of town and Wilmette Eye Care was his backup. I had an infection and they got me in quickly. I saw Dr. Wawrzak and she was awesome! Very friendly and helpful and got me a prescription that quickly cleared up the infection. If I was looking for a new eye care practitioner, I would absolutely chose Wilmette Eye Care.

Two words. Go. There. :) Authentic, caring, highly professional service with a great selection of frames. Dr. Kohn and Shiny stand out, but that's maybe because I remember their names. The whole staff seems to take ownership and pride in their roles, and they feel like a little family, all working together. It's nice to have places to go for old school service.

I was very surprised and very pleased with my eye exam I had last week. I was fully expecting the machine that blows air into your eye and I did not get that, which I was very happy about. The technology in Andrew’s office is by far the best and super cool! It was really interesting to see my own eye in 3D and the way he explained everything was very understanding and reassuring. Wilmette Eye Care is a full-service optometry practice offering comprehensive eye exams, contact lens care, a wide selection of frames and even an on-site lab for fabrication of eye glasses. We are happy to provide pediatric eye care, comanage refractive surgery (including LASIK), and work with challenging prescriptions and specialty contact lenses. The practice was founded by Dr. Andrew Kohn in 2018 and we have been absolutely devoted to our patients in the North Shore since that time. We are also happy to serve patients in the surrounding communities of Winnetka, Kenilworth, Evanston, Glencoe and beyond. Wilmette Eye Care was founded on the principle of providing high quality care in an independent, local and friendly environment.
