Dr Joy is truly amazing. I had the start of an infection right before a trip. Dr. Joy met me after hours, diagnosed the problem, and solved the issue. His kind demeanor, easygoing spirit, and exceptional talent saved me from what could’ve been a nightmare. If you need a dentist or are looking for a refreshing change, Dr. Joy is your guy.

I don’t even know where to start. I came in last week with a cracked tooth — up all night in serious pain, face swollen, and honestly a little panicked. Dr. Joy and his staff got me in right away, no runaround, no waiting, even though it was an extremely busy day.
Dr. Joy was incredible. He put together a thorough treatment plan, made sure I was comfortable and pain-free throughout the entire process, and handled absolutely everything. I couldn’t have asked for better care. Five stars also to his assistant Anna who was so caring and reassuring.

I’ve always had a great experience at Carlson Dental —the entire team is warm, professional, and truly cares about their patients. From the front desk to the hygienists and dentists, everyone goes above and beyond. I’ve been seeing Dr. Carlson for some time and have always appreciated his excellent care. More recently, I’ve had a few visits with Dr. Joy for a cleaning and fillings, and he has been absolutely wonderful—easygoing, gentle, and very thorough.
