“While we appreciate Mr. Prorok’s review, it is inaccurate and therefore we need to respond to the false allegations. We supplied tax returns to Mr. Prorok with the information he provided to us. Mr. Prorok’s return was completed in February, well before the filing deadline. At that time Mr. Prorok should have reviewed his tax return prior to signing and filing. It would be our recommendation for Mr. Prorok to review any work performed on his behalf that he review the information prior to signing and filing. In addition, Mr. Prorok’s mother did not contact our firm until August 22. Six months after their returns were sent to them for review and filing. Furthermore, we have no control over FAFSA nor do we provide this service. It would be our suggestion that you follow-up with FAFSA once you complete the paperwork to verify that your filing is in process. FAFSA communicates directly with each individual as to the status of their filings and they send frequent reminders letting you know that your filing is not complete. Finally, we never tried to have your mother “fired”, we have no control over your $2500 grant, your father’s unemployment has nothing to do with your tax return and his tax return was filed with no errors. J.M. Hartmann & Company is very professional, knowledgeable, and always accountable for their actions.
