I see Alecia is described in not too flattering terms, she has not changed. I applied for a position for which I had very specific experience. Will reached out, I wrote him and left a message, no response. Finally I reached him by phone and he said Alecia would reach out. I texted and e mailed him when she did not, Will did not respond. I finally reached him by phone and he said he would look into it. I received an e mail from Will stating the position was filled which was the excuse for Alecia not responding. Misleading from my first day of hire. Was told I’d have high chances of being remote or hybrid within my region in which there was “available work”. Then was placed 2 counties over fully on site. I expressed to Erin McInerey my distaste in this situation and she told me “well, what else would you be doing?” This was a huge switch up from the positive, upbeat energy they had before I signed on. Despite being overqualified for the role I was shorted a dollar on my hourly pay and was now driving 2 hours a day, round trip with tolls. I’ve had an extremely frustrating and unprofessional experience with Robert Half. They truly need new staff from the bottom to the top! Over the past several months I’ve been assigned multiple recruiters, and none of them have been responsive or followed through. I’ve called numerous times, left voicemails, and tried to follow up, but I rarely — if ever — get a response.

What makes this even more disappointing is that I can clearly see new job opportunities posted that align very closely with my background and what I’m actively searching for, yet no one ever reaches out to me about them, and no one responds when I inquire myself.
