I was referred to Dr. Maher Rifai Jandali, MD, for a tooth extraction, but it turned out to be the worst dental appointment I’ve ever had. Dr. Rifai was incredibly rude and unprofessional throughout the entire process. He didn’t explain anything to me, and when I asked about the procedure, he tried to upsell Invisalign, which was billed as a $200 consultation.
During the extraction, he was extremely rough when administering the numbing medication. He literally stabbed me with the needle and left the room without even checking on me. He was even rougher during the actual procedure, and when I expressed my pain, he seemed annoyed. While administering more numbing medication, he pressed the needle, causing the medication to drip on my neck, chest, and shirt.
After the procedure, the dental assistant walked me through the post-procedure care. She told me to take a medication that I can’t take, and when I asked her to check with the doctor for an alternative, she walked me to the front desk where Dr. Rifai was sitting there looking at his phone. She told him I couldn’t take that medication, and he looked up and said, “Why not?” I explained the reason, but he just gave me a blank stare and continued on his phone.
I can’t believe someone with such a lack of bedside manner and unprofessionalism is allowed to work with patients. I had to pay for this mistreatment, and I will never allow this person near me again.

I recently had a crown done by Dr. Noweder and everything went really smoothly. Both the temporary and the permanent crowns fit perfectly—no weird pressure or adjustment period like I’ve had with other dentists. This one felt great from the start. I’m super happy with the result and would definitely recommend Dr. Noweder.
I have also found the billing department easy to work with. In particular the office manager there was great when I had some issues in the past with my bill. All got straightened out fairly for both parties.

not trustworthy. when I called them for appointment for mandetory school annual regular checkup they took Insurance details and they confirmed me later that Insurance will cover and I dont need to do any co-payment.. Now they are sending me bill and asking me connect insurance. They charged me some thing which is not coevered in surance.. would never recommand to go there. **Connecting Office Managers just waste of time, they juste repeast same thing**

My review is strictly based on their billing department. They continue to send us a bill every month even if our bill is covered by Tricare dental insurance. Metro square dental sent Tricare a blurry, unreadable dental x-ray, hence Tricare rejected their claim. I’ve been reminding Metro Square to send Tricare another copy (one that isn’t blurry and is actually legible) And up to this day, they continue to send us a bill every month! It’s also almost impossible to get a hold of them; they will put you on hold for a long time. Awful customer service!

Today I had my teeth cleaned by hygienist Laura. I am very pleased with the result. Considering that I drink a lot of coffee and tea, I did not expect such a significant difference before and after this procedure. Laura works very gently and professionally and it is noticeable that she enjoys her work, giving patients snow-white smiles.

This is now part of Great Lakes Dental. I had been with Metro Square Dental for over 15 years. However, since becoming part of Great Lakes Dental Partners, the service and quality of care as well as quality of office staff is awful. They changed my care team without notification or consent. Office is cramped and crowded. I have moved to a new practice and suggest you do the same.
