I purchased a well-used and apparently abused Smith R8 primarily to shoot 9mm in non-regulation steel matches at my club. It was a mess with 25% or more light strikes/failure to fire and the strangest action I've ever seen in a revolver. Sent it to Eli on a wing and a prayer. It came back in two weeks and it functions like a dream come true. If you need work on a revolver TK Custom is the only place to go.
