Every cut is done with precision no matter what I’m wanting to try. He kills it every time! He’s a real professional who makes sure you leave his chair feeling and looking better than you did when you walked in. The service and atmosphere of his shop are unmatched that I actually travel about an hour and a half on the train just to keep going to get my haircut from him because nobody does a better job. I could go to a shop much closer, but to me it’s 100% worth the journey year round!

The shop is modern, spacious, spotless, and super easy to access in the Uptown neighborhood. “Came here for the first time based on the reviews and Joel did not disappoint. He was very chill and down to earth and made the whole experience relaxing. He listens to how you want your hair done and takes his time to make sure you’re satisfied with how you look. I’m Filipino with hair that sticks out pretty easily and I’ve had barbers struggle cutting my hair how I’d like it in the past. I showed Joel a picture of what I wanted my hair to generally look like and he actually made it look better than the picture I showed him.
