We have been taking our sons here for 9+ years. Our youngest (I was pregnant when the older two joined) grew up watching his brothers and couldn't wait to join. It was his favorite birthday present! Grandmaster Hutson and Master Harville don't only teach "forms". They help teach our sons self-defense, respect, confidence, dedication/perseverance, patience, and community; building character and lifelong friendships. I recommend this school to everyone! I always been interested in martial arts, but I've never committed to any school because they all seemed to share the same "Mcblackbelt" ideology. You go in, pay some money, two years down the line you're a black belt without any real knowledge of the theory behind the techniques or forms.I can proudly say Dragon Kido is not that type of school. Grand Master Hutson is a traditionalist and believes you have to earn the right to wear a black belt. Going on 3 years now and I can tell you I'm not near my black belt yet. Most people might be dissuaded by this, but I can tell you with certainty that I feel very confident about the skill set I developed so far and techniques...read full review
