We had a last-minute issue with our dog and although we weren’t a current client and not from the area, they were able to squeeze us in same-day and the price was so reasonable, that it shocked us.
Someone actually answered the phone and was friendly and polite. The previous phone call to a different vet clinic, was nothing more than an automated call to say that if you aren’t a current customer, don’t leave a message.
Our experience at Shelbyville Vet Services, from beginning to end was pleasant and helpful.

My dog had to have an overnight stay due to a health issue that requires more than one stay. The first stay she smelled like urine to the point I never wanted to sent her back but I didn't want to take the risk of switching vets in the midst of her treatment... within a week and a half of the first stay she developed a bladder infection I suspect due to not being taken out and sitting in her own filth for extended amount of time. The second stay was for 2 days and I asked for updates after the treatments to check in and I was given none so I called they never listed any concerns and it was a Saturday when I picked her up and when I say the stench was so bad that my eye were watering and I had to pull over within the block, well there are no words to describe that stench. When I called because once again after that stay we are dealing with another bladder infection I began to voice my concerns the receptionist ********************* up on me. I decided to call off work and go in because I've spent well over a grand within these last couple months and so they took me into a back room where no one could see or hear what went on and when I told *************** I was hung up on by ******.. ****** snapped back \

Never called me back for an appointment. Will not recommend to anyone. If you can't even be bothered to call me back then you obviously don't really care about the pets.
