Hubby got a nice hot lather shave and a clean-up on his hair. Nice young men, OK music and clean bathroom!
Horrible customer service. I struggle to get in, in their VERY limited hours (9 to 5 Tu-Fri, and Sat 9 to 1...ish, those are like...banker's hours ) And by the looks of some of the other reviews, I'm not the only one to have a bad experience here. Jake knows me...or he did last time I got my haircut there a couple of months ago. I work out of town so it's very hard for me to get in there that late in the morning, and before 5pm (best to say 4pm or even 3...read on) Any-how...I get in this morning from a week on the road at 7:45 this morning...grab a bite and a quick shower, take care of a couple honey do's....and run to get a haircut. They close at 1 on Saturday...right? I arrive at 12:20... Sign on the door, CLOSED, Booked up for the day (or words to that effect) I'm thinking, hmmm, waiting area must be full, right? I walk up to the door...look in, and one lady seemingly waiting for her son (perhaps). The two in chairs, haircuts well under way, or so it would seem, I mean, I've seen a few haircuts in my 59 years and they certainly looked near completion... Anyway, Josh comes to the door....Jake looks over. Jake knows me...perhaps it was that $10.00 tip last time...but, maybe I'm wrong and that tiny tip is why they couldn't find time for my simple almost buzz cut. Josh says, sorry, all booked up...I stick my head in and look around, I said, those 2 are going to take you to 1pm? He says, yep. I'm just...shocked...but then again, maybe I should have read the reviews. Obviously, others have been turned away, or better yet, just...nobody was there, during those generous hours. 36 hours a week, or so....whew, knocking it down. They must be, I mean...having been a businessman, I find it hard to believe that someone would turn a customer away when they show up at 12:20 and closing is at 1:00pm. Man, they must have had some dungeons and dragons tournament to get to or something. Young folks...(lol, yep, I'm getting old) Looks like they have some good reviews too. But eventually, all their family and friends will run out...probably getting close. If I had 44 reviews, and 15% or better were unhappy customers mainly because we can't come to work, or don't want to work....I'd have to take a hard look at my business. Maybe after 5 years, it's getting old. Anyway...You've earned the last of my money, you won't see any more. Good luck to you both. I think you're going to need a bit of it. And to prospective patrons...Good luck with them being there and whatever you do....don't show up 40 minutes before they close.
Jake does a great job, DO NOT depend on them being open during their "regular business hours" though.
