I was experiencing heartburn following a couple hours of palpitations, along with a throbbing pain that would spread through different parts of my upper body like my shoulders and arms. So, I had my brother drive me here. The staff were nice, and I got a room after giving the desk clerk my information and paying a $145 downpayment for the visit. They did an ECG but didn’t see anything abnormal. The doctor was still concerned so he recommended we go to the ER. We denied the ambulance and my brother drove me to Northwestern. Only reason they didn't get 5 start was because their check in process is ridiculous. One kiosk to put you in line while 2 people are working the desk to then call the person in line up to enter all the info you just did on the kiosk. So when there is multiple people waiting to register and only one kiosk, it's a bit ridiculous. After getting called back, the nurses were amazing and quick. Xrays went fast and radiologist read them in about 15min. Everyone had a great attitude, welcoming and accommodating.
Wonderful experience. The check-in young man was pleasant. The nurses, staff and doctor were all kind, caring and knowledgeable. I was in and out in one hour, including exray. I would highly recommend this well-run facility.
