In 2012, Emerald Tree Care (ie. Wayne White) began treating my 4 ash trees that were planted in 1999. Two of the 4 ash trees are in my front and back yard and 2 are located in the parkway. The trees grew and matured beautifully thanks to Wayne's yearly treatment. Beginning in 2014, the City of Naperville began treating all ash trees planted on city property and those planted on the street parkways. As a result, Wayne discontinued treatment on those 2 trees. Beginning in the summer of 2016, the health of one of the parkway ash trees deteriorated very quickly and in early 2017, the City of Naperville removed the tree saying it was a casualty of the Ash Borer. This wouldn't have happened under Wayne's watch! The 2 trees on my property that Wayne continues to treat are beautiful and thriving. Wayne's tree pruning division, Green Extraction Technologies, performed maintenance trimming on 9 trees on my property. Wow....they did an unbelievable job! Unlike other tree trimming/maintenance companies, a Certified Arborist, Daniel, was performing the actual trimming on my trees. He and his crew did not go crazy with chain saws. Instead, they methodically determined which branches needed to be cut or removed. I also learned that some tree companies will not remove branches less than a certain diameter....why? Too time consuming I'm told. Green Extraction removed ALL branches that needed to be removed without a size limitation. I highly recommend they service!
