I am a 28 year old fit male that had been struggling with chronic GERD for over 4 months when I went to see Dr. Kozlowski. I had been to my PCP, and a gastroenterologist and all they did was put me on high doses of a PPI. This ultimately did not treat the underlying cause, so I sought out Dr. Kozlowski to go the functional medicine route.
After meeting with him for almost 2 hours where he took the time to truly get to know me and educate me on what the root cause could be, he had me take multiple tests and gave me the tools to heal. I visited Dr. Koz in search of answers I wasn’t getting from other doctors. I was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s 10 years ago and have never felt myself since. I’ve been on a functional medicine journey for years trying to address the symptoms but never found much improvement. Dr. Koz is the first doctor to not only acknowledge everything I had shared, but to tell me WHY it was happening. I learned more in 2 hours with him than I have from any other doctor in 10 years.
