Sears Appliance Repair - PERMANENTLY CLOSED

I was hesitant to call Sears since they no longer have a brick and mortar presence in our city. But, reviews were good on the service website and I gave it a shot. I was even more hesitant when routed to a call center. However, the representative answered immediately and was pleasant. She offered alternatives for the service agreement, but was not pushy. She said a service rep could respond that afternoon. I have nothing but good things to say about the overall experience. The repairman was courteous, knowledgeable, and very capable. There were two service technicians. They both wore mask. Were very cordial, respectful and knowledgeable about my washer. I thought they fixed the issue of water leaking into the storage tub under the washer. They put a cleaning tablet in set it for 4 hrs. When I went down and checked the tub there was small amount of water in one side of tub. This was one of my original issues to set appt.Service: Washing machine repair

I liked the convenience of being able to book online and track when the tech would arrive. Tech was very professional and did a great job. However, the labor to replace a thermostat in our dryer was $300 and he was only in our home for about 20-30 minutes actually fixing the dryer. I would not use them again or recommend them to anyone for this reason.Service: Dryer repair
