We started out at the park district. The experience was so positive we moved training to the academy location. The training and teaching goes beyond the typical martial arts form and function. Master An provides his students guidance into attitude, character, discipline, the ability to focus, and reinforces or reminds them of their jobs as students and their paths in school and life. Master An even had a message about our roles, jobs, and responsibilities as parents. Which is welcome, and some of us sometimes, need to hear those messages and have them reinforced as well.

My son had been asking for ninja classes for months, and we finally decided to try out Rockford Academy of Tae-Kwon-Do. I was so impressed with the Little Ninja program they have there. It is a well rounded effort of conditioning of the body and mind. Master An is very hands on and you can tell that he loves what he does.
I really appreciate the emphasis on life skills in addition to the physical skills — gives us a shared reference when talking about behavior at home. The instructors are incredible role models, embodying the values they teach. Master An does a great job with the kids! He instills discipline in them at a young age and pushes them to be their best. I would definitely recommend having your children go through the little ninjas program.
