I had a lost dog show up in my yard so I put a leash on her and walked around my neighborhood for a few minutes and then decided to call Animal Control and let them know I had her and she was safe. They called me back in 8 minutes to let me know the owner had just called looking for her. I'm so happy to have the Shelter to help with getting her home.
My experience at Whiteside County Animal Control was great! Krystal was so kind, helpful, and upfront with me throughout the whole process, that it really was a no-brainer for me to adopt Reese after our meet and greet.You can tell this place truly cares about the animals in their care, and they really do try to find the best home for them. I am so thrilled Reese got to come home with me! She was so well behaved for the 1.5 hour car ride home. As promised, here are some photos of Reese during her first day with me. I adopted a Pitt terrier dog two weeks ago. Krystal and the staff were very friendly and helpful! The dog and I are getting along super great! They do a great job trying to find homes for the animal they are caring for!
