Dr.Kuhn and Jessica H were so informative. Those ladies definitely know that they are doing! My dog Charlie is very high energy and it was wonderful being in our own room so that he felt more comfortable and at ease. Prairie Animal Hospital is THE BEST!!!!!!

This place is such a scam!! They overcharge for everything. Try to get you to sign up for a monthly wellness plan just to make you pay even more when you take your animal in for service. There is always an issue with payments coming out every month. Had my husband take his dog in for treatment and made it very clear multiple times that is his dog and to be under his name. I have text messages and phone calls about this and they still never corrected it. Not to mention they added his dog to a wellness plan that we did not sign up for. He took his dog in there twice for treatment and paid full price both times! Now trying to cancel plan and just for my dog charging 400! And God knows what they are trying to charge for my husband's dogs. This place makes me sick. To scam people like this is unacceptable.

Exceptional Care on a Saturday! A huge thank you to Prairie Family for being open on a Saturday. The gentleman at the front desk was incredibly welcoming and informative. Paige was a gem—her knowledge and emotional awareness immediately eased my anxiety. Dr. Siegel is a very kind soul with a contagious smile! I'm so grateful for the excellent communication, including the prompt call to our vet in Texas. You all took so much stress out of our visit. Highly recommend!

The staff here are absolutely amazing. We are relatively new patients. Both of our dogs are reactive. They are absolutely amazing with them both and are so patient. Our Cattle Dog used to be seen at Tender Care in Peoria. Dr. Larson had told me I needed to euthanize him. This was almost 4 years ago and with training he has gotten so much better. I'm very happy to find a vet that understands us, gives intentional and loving care to our pups, and genuinely cares for their well-being. I would suggest anyone reactive dog or not, come here for your pets.

Had a very wonderful trip with Mew today at the vet! Dr Kuhn and the technician Carsten were so incredibly compassionate and understanding and really genuinely cares about not only your pet but you as a person as well. I needed to get my newest addition checked out and I felt very respected and the pricing was very reasonable! Thank you to Billie as well for being so helpful on the phone and kind during the visit. I shall be back!

Prairie Animal Hospital is hands down the best vet I’ve been to. You can tell they truly care about their patients and are very knowledgeable about veterinary care. My cat has had a lot of health issues recently and they’ve done everything possible to help him. The staff is super friendly and they always listen to my concerns. Definitely recommend taking your fur babies here !!

Best vet experience I've had in the Midwest by far! Dr. Kuhn is very personable and helpful and all of the staff clearly cares. They treat your pets like a real patient, not simply an animal. My cat is getting on in years and gets awesome treatment here 👏

We had to put our dog of 13 years down as she was very sick. Dr Rachel was amazing and real about the situation. This made things easier to make the decision. It is never a good decision to have to put a family dog down but to have a vet you can trust and will advise what is best for the situation is HUGE.
