I had a baby in oct and he was life flighted here.. the nurse and the apn we had on his care at a week and half old almost killed him. The nurse and apn and the nurse that was in charge threatened to kick myself and my neice out for advocating for him. we kept telling them something was wrong. They had caused him to have a pericardial infusion. I had reached out to patient relations and nothing was done. The charge nurse made us apologize when we didn't get so much as one. I with drew all of my son's care to Laurie childrens in Chicago.. He has a Double right ventricle... and since then has had open heart surgery at 2 months old.. Worst hospital ever! 5/20 My mom passed at 67 years old from sepsis!!!!! Osf is a SHITHOLE!! I’m 40 years old with neither parent now because ironically my father passed 10 years ago at osf from SEPSIS!!!
I used to work at osf years ago in surgery … I used to be proud to work there, what the hell has happened?? This hospital has the most incompetent staff I’ve ever seen !!! Disgusting!!! You know why my mom died??? Because this hospital could care less about patients , they had her sitting on the floor for days without bringing her to surgery because a “broken toe” was more emergent!!????? Do not take anyone here!!! Don’t
