Communication was great! Crew was awesome. They had to match some existing shingles and they did a great job. I worked with both Jeff Holt and Jeff Sacco. Both “Jeff’s” were extremely responsive and very knowledgeable. I got three quotes from different companies, and Messing was very competitive. They also replaced my gutter guard, and I’m very happy with their product and installation. Much better than previous guard. Very happy we chose Messing. They did a great job, and they’ve come back to take care of a couple of minor issues, with no hesitation. They’re awesome to work with. Highly recommend!
Great job BUT unexpected hassles Work was done quickly and very nice. Issues with our roof sheeting were communicated openly and professionally. Yard was cleaned up well. We were very happy and paid-in-full upon completion. However, we received a letter from a law firm 3 months later telling us that a lien would be placed on our house because Messing Roofing had not paid the subcontractor that supplied the materials. After several phone calls to Messing Roofing and another letter from the law firm, it was finally resolved! All of this was because WE followed up and made sure everything was taken care of. I would have thought that Messing Roofing would have made this their first priority, but that is not the case. They do very good work, but details about how subcontractors are paid need to be discussed before signing a contract.
