I've been going to Patrick for years and totally disagree with the posted negative review. Patrick has been able to prepare the exact color that I wanted (reddish blond as when I was a kid) and he's been able to take my fine hair and cut it so it has more body. He always has suggestions how to better care for my hair. Also, he has traveled all over the world and one feels like having been there after hearing his descriptions and seeing his excellent photographs. I highly recommend Patrick.
This is where I get my hair done. It's unlike major salons because: a) they don't charge an arm and a leg for a cut & highlights b) my stylist is very nice and personable When I was in college, I'd pay upwards of $100 on my cut/highlights..now I go to Linda and pay $45...AWESOME! Plus, I am almost always pleased with the results.

Can't say enough good things about Jason and his crew. I've had him do work for me 3 times now and I've never been disappointed. Last year, our heat quit 3 days before Thanksgiving, but they had Billy out by the end of the day. He diagnosed a bad pressure switch that was out of stock, but found a substitute to get us heat until the replacement could come in. Our ac went out on Sunday and I made the mistake of calling a competitor that was open on the weekend, not realizing that Armstrong had an after hours on call service. They quoted me an astronomical figure for recharging the system and tried to convince me to buy a new unit. Jason searched for this supposed "aggressive leak" and couldn't find one. He added a few lbs of refrigerant, cleaned my unit, and told me I didn't need to buy a new unit for a while as it was only 10 years old and in working condition. He also came in $400 cheaper than his competitor for the same service. Honest business practices and repairs, not just salesmen out to make a quick buck. Gave a competitive quote for a move-in clean! The quoted price was lower than or the same price as almost all of the other local companies I received a quote from without sacrificing content like the other lower quotes. Owner, Steve, reached out to me directly to give me the quote and to follow up. He communicated what he planned to do and information about his company. He gave me an exact day and a window of time he could be there to accommodate my schedule. He allowed me to leave a key for him to let himself in since I would be working, to leave a check for him when he was done, and he let me know when he was on his way to the house. As far as I could tell, he did everything he had said he would as far as the cleaning. He even went above and beyond doing small things I hadn't thought he would do! Very pleasant, simple experience and very happy with the results!
To update this review. 1st we want to thank the great staff at prospect animal. Dr Peterson took such great care of our girl Eve. Today we had to let Eve cross the bridge and be with her friends. Dr Peterson did all he could to make her passing easier. We love this animal hospital and still have 1 sheltie with us. It took us 5 other clinics before we struck gold with Prospect Animal Hospital and their caring staff. Bless you all.
Finally a vet that takes care of the problem we came in for. Follow up by phone on results and suggestions for the problem. Medication prescribed. Will take one issue at a time for our older girl.

Mr Bennett and his worker came out and removed loads of limbs from my back yard. Looks so much better now except for the part I have to take care of. Showed up within a couple of days and was the most reasonable priced company around. Highly recommend them to anyone. Here’s the before and after. I could not be happier.
I’d heard great things about Peoria Heights Plumbing for years, and they did not disappoint! I got scheduled quickly, the person who came was on time and friendly, and very knowledgeable! He was quick and efficient, and also answered all my questions. Fortunately the issues I had with my toilet, bathroom and kitchen faucets were fixed quickly and inexpensively. Without a doubt I’ll use them again!
Water company needed to change my meter and something was broken in the process. They coordinated with Tom Smith Plumbing and someone was out within a few hours. The fix was easy, timely, and affordable. Very nice technician. Would recommend.

This company is outstanding! They are honest, knowledgeable, and do excellent work. Troy in particular was very kind in explaining my options for a new sump pump. He went the extra mile by taking photos of my crawl space for me. He made sure the electrical cords were secured and out of the way. He even sawed off a small piece of the pipe that extends into my yard.

(Yeah, it’s not supposed to be gravity fed ?) anyhow, it’s the BEST experience I have ever had with a repair company, and I have been in industry for over a decade. One of the best parts of doing jiu-jitsu is that many schools like this one are very open to having you drop in for a class or an open mat when you travel. These guys were great. Great locations and a welcoming atmosphere. We saw the Peoria gym and the Morton gym. Great instruction, willingness to share knowledge and love for the sport. I brought my two boys (10 and 13) and they loved it. I would highly recommend this gym.

I just got a pedicure at Sassy which is under new ownership. The salon was very clean, and the atmosphere relaxing. The staff was very friendly and did a wonderful job! I highly recommend!
