Beware of scams and scab doctors. I was given a 3-year medical card as per MCO's referral to the state. Issued 01/24; Expires 01/27. This January (2026), a rude representative of MCO called and demanded I pay them $150 for a yearly phone call. After questioning the validity, she threatened to have my medical card revoked. I told them that's poor business and hung up. An hour later, IL Dept. of Health sent me an email saying my license was indeed revoked. At the very least, I hope that woman felt empowered the rest of her day. She probably needs it.
Edit after the owner's response: Extortion under the guise of law is still extortion. Furthermore you owe me an apology for the rudeness. Your practice is unethical and unprofessional. Let me know how the call goes with the Department of Financial and Professional Regulation.

My appointment was swift and simple. I just uploaded some medical records to my application and when the interview was finished I was supplied with a letter of approval within the hour. They were knowledgeable and helpful with my questions. I didnt really know what to expect but it ended up being a quick and simple process. I highly recommend.
