“About a month ago I had a lithotripsy at United Therapies at Lutheran General Hospital. From the minute I walked through the front door, and someone escorted me to the clinic, everything was rather extraordinary. One of the best medical experiences of my life - and I've ad y share of them! I was probably helped one way or another by at least 8 employees and professionals, one better than the next - each one doing their jobs with care and professionalism, each one upbeat and anxious to please. I wish I could recall all their names but here is part of the line-up: Eva, George, Viviana, Drei, Dr. Blum, the anesthesiologist and the intake and welcoming person. If cold, they were there with warm blankets in 2 seconds - they helped with lockers and dressing- they explained and answered every question! What a group! I know this sounds bizarre to e so enthusiastic about a procedure to smash kidney stones, but these people could dissolve anyone's fears and make them feel totally comfortable. Laurie W.“

“Dr. Szczerba is a very talented plastic surgeon with an awesome bedside manner. Meeting him and learning about his process has been life changing. He has an abundance of knowledge and experience. I know this from my own personal experience, as well as from my husband who works in the medical field. My husband has observed and worked with many plastic surgeons from across the Midwest for over 20 years and highly recommends Dr. Szczerba. He is an artist and is very concerned about all aspects of his work, including making his patients feel comfortable. The office staff is amazing as well. From the nurses to the women at the front desk, everyone is always helpful and friendly. This is why when I was diagnosed with breast cancer, I knew Dr. Szczerba would be the one to perform my reconstruction surgeries.Because I was so happy with the outcome from my reconstruction, I decided to have a tummy tuck and lipo a year later. I waited for 15 years after three c-sections to make this decision. I wasn’t at my ideal weight, which would have given me even better results, but I realized that may never happen and life was passing me by. My body and appearance affected everything and I missed out on a lot of experiences and photo opportunities waiting to lose weight. “Diane is a true master of her craft. Her office isn't new, and she uses floral sheets for her beds sometimes (which I love), which can give the vibe of getting Accupuncture in your grandma's house, but don't let that fool you. Diane is a true healer. At one point, I had strained my neck so bad I couldn't move it to one side - literally could not. After one session with Diane, I was almost as good as new. I still had a little soreness, but I could move it and without pain! Go!“
