Had an amazing time volunteering today! Right after completing orientation, I got to jump right in and work their event. I absolutely loved it. Met so many incredible dogs, including an adorable pit bull who completely stole my heart. If you're looking for a great organization to support or volunteer with, I cannot recommend them enough!
We just got our rescue dog, Phoebe, from SSCR a few weeks ago, and we had the best experience! I heard from someone right away after filling out the application; it was straightforward to schedule an in-person meet and greet with our current dog, and they were very thorough in looking at everything and verifying things.
