About Pavilion of Ottawa

Nursing staff, front desk personnel, the business office, and a social worker are all praised for being kind, accommodating and helpful. Residents receive food that is prepared and delivered with care, and the facility keeps families well informed. Activities are highlighted as the best, with a therapy department that is amazing. The activities director and the person in charge of activities for the memory unit are noted for going above and beyond, providing fun events such as an adult prom where residents wear tuxedos and beautiful dresses, and dancing, drinks and memories that last a lifetime. CNAs and nurses are appreciated for their patience with many different needs. Residents with Alzheimer’s and type 1 diabetes in the memory unit receive excellent care, and transportation is arranged when needed. Overall, the Pavilion of Ottawa is praised for creating a positive, joyful environment where every resident feels cared for and supported.
My sister stayed here for rehab and if I ever needed a nursing home, I would only come to pavilion. The staff went out of their way to care for her and the building was always clean.
My wife was POA for Healthcare for a friend of ours who became a resident at the Pavillion in Ottawa, IL & had great care there. The nursing staff did everything to make here stay a positive one. The facility kept us well informed and was more than willing to help us find food and prepare it for our friend. Our friend liked all the nurses who were so kind. Working with the business office and Dawn was a pleasure, she made things easy. The head nurse Nomi was great too. The front desk personnel were always so accommodating, even getting things down to our friend when my wife found it difficult to walk very far. She thrived there. The activities were the best. They do so many fun things . The therapy department was amazing as well .
She never seemed sad or crabby there. I have a whole new appreciation for CNAs and nurses for all they do and their patience caring for so many people with so many different needs. Christine the activities director goes above and beyond to make it fun for them! Keep it up Ottawa Pavilion !
