I am very disappointed with my experience at Oswego Animal Hospital’s grooming service. Kristen did not groom my dog properly, and when I tried to speak with her about possible solutions, she was dismissive and walked away while I was still trying to talk. It felt very unprofessional and rude.
I was also told that a manager would call me to follow up, but I never received a call. Because the grooming was not done correctly, I now have to take my dog somewhere else to have the work fixed, which is frustrating and an added expense.
I expect better communication and customer service, especially when it comes to the care of pets. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I would not recommend bringing your pets here for grooming.

I have two things to discuss. I have been with this hospital for a little less than a year and i am highly dissatisfied. Not once have i been able to reach someone on the phone. Not once. My cats medicine is LATE every time. Not just a day late but weeks late. The pharamcy is useless and ridiculous. Its the reason my cat has to go weeks without medicine (making him very sick). Not to mention...my cats medicine is DOUBLE the price it was at the last vet i was at (only changed vets because we moved). The vet herself was kind and we had no issues with her, but, I am changing vets now for the sake of my cats health. My second thing I'd like to discuss happened in 2020.... I came by with a stray cat we found to have her chipped. The one lady was strict and said they dont help anyone who dont bring cats in carriers. They said theyd do it just this time. She was rude and inpatient on the phone. She didnt give me a chance to tell her that the cat was a stray and we dont have a carrier. She told me to get back in my car and call the number. We did so and she came back out to apologize and say that she didnt realize it was a stray- if she had given me a moment to tell her, she would have known.

Visit with a technician for our dog's nails to get trimmed. They always take great care of the animal and their humans!

The only reason that we came here is because we had a free exam covered after adopting our cat. The assessment of the cat with this was not even done in front of us, so who knows if it was completed. The cat wasn’t old enough for the vaccine that was needed and so we were told to come back for the vaccine in which now they are trying to charge us for the assessment of the cat again even though I was told that it would be covered. When I walked in the first time, there was poop all over the floor and the staff were nothing but short with us. I would not recommend bringing any animals here. Horrible business.

Staff is great. Clean facility. Kristin, the groomer, always does a great job. Our dog is getting up there in age, so he's become a little more timid. But she understands and takes the time and an understanding approach. He always look great after the grooming session.

Our dog was treated by Dr Hall. Dr Hall is knowledgable, compassionate and professional. She listens to concerns symptoms and offers treatment options.
She follow ups with labs and test results when she says she will.
I completely trust her with care of my dogs. Her level of care to human and pets is a skill not taught in school, it is genuine. Annette Fox
